The pond has done well this year, and wildlife has had the bonus of few humans venturing into the area. Dear have been spotted in the adjacent woods. The height of the floods is show on the tree trunks as a dark stain. Reed beds are exposed.

The pond water is very low at them moment but this has exposed the ditches which need clearing to provide drainage to prevent future floods.
